Roles and Responsibilities

    • To ensure project feasibility through continual evaluation of structural integrity and design practicality.
    • Creating and developing digital designs such as pipeline maps, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams using AutoCAD.
    • Conducting site surveys using dumpy level machines to determine route for pipeline laying and placement of pits and other installation process of pipeline infrastructure and systems.
    • Managing the project workflow and budget.
    • Performing quality control assessments and ensuring that the pipelines comply with all technical and safety regulations.
    • To have and apply in-depth knowledge of performing pre-commissioning activities for pipelines (off/onshore) involving flooding, pigging, hydro testing, dewatering, nitrogen purging & pipeline preservation.
    • Inspection of surface preparation, WFT, peel test and DFT of field joint coating.
    • Inspection of pulling HDD and MDPE, pre and post hydro test of mainline.
    • Witness and inspect the pre and post hydro testing including swabbing and vacuum drying, pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipeline.
    • Welding inspection like fit up, tie in joint, trenching & backfilling.
    • Communicate with team members as well as customers and vendors to ensure maximum utilization of resources and to maintain project timeline & budget.
    • Continuous monitoring of daily outages to achieve targets.
    • Contribute to the overall development of Savitri Group and its activities.
    • Maintain and develop systems, procedures and records in line with the organizations policies and objectives.
    • Ensure necessary records are maintained that can readily provide current, accurate and accessible information.
    • In particular this position serves as on-site support resource at the customer’s location of choice. (I.e. Customer office premises, Engineering department, Work site, Savitri office, etc.).

All you need is.

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in gas pipeline laying projects.
    • Well versed with Radiographic Testing and Liquid Penetrant Testing.
    • Knowledge of Google earth and AutoCAD for making route diagrams and single line diagrams is a must.
