Roles and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide the full spectrum of pre- and post-sales technical support for Network Synchronization Technology Elements like SSU, PRC, and PTP (1588V2GM) to the end users, which includes:

    • Technical planning, design, consulting and documentation for partners and end customers.
    • Proving end to end technical support from preparing optimized FSP network designs & solutions to deployment & troubleshooting networks.
    • Evaluation and preparation of the technical response to customer RFXs and projects.
    • Conceptual studies on network architectures and functionalities.
    • Network studies, network calculations and availability calculations.
    • Technical consulting, network optimization, network planning, and network upgrades.
    • Conducting POC (Proof of Concept).
    • Training on Network Sync Technology/Product portfolio.
    • On site and remote support for the deployment and fault management of the networks.
    • Assisting the customers during system evaluation and qualification trials and demo activities.

In particular this position serves as on-site support resource at the customers location of choice (i.e. Network Operation Centre, Engineering department, Savitri office, etc.).

All you need is.

    • Degree in Telecommunications / Electronics engineering or similar specializations.
    • At least 2-4 years’ experience within technical support or project execution team or customer service team.
    • Sound knowledge of telecommunications, in IP MPLS, Ethernet, SDH, DWDM.
    • Knowledge of NTP, SNMP, and SNTP is a plus.
    • Basic knowledge of management systems for transport networks.
    • Basic knowledge of timing synchronization technologies will work as an added advantage.
    • Strong customer focus.
    • Ability to push and carry out actions and stay in given time frames.
    • Ability to travel.
